🌿 Eyebrow Aftercare Instructions

Please follow these instructions carefully after your eyebrow treatment. Proper aftercare is essential for the best results.

🔒 First 7 Days – Healing Phase

  • Keep the treated area dry.
No water, lotion, soap, or makeup on your eyebrows.
  • Clean your face carefully, avoiding the eyebrow area.
  • During showers, keep your face away from the water or consider taking baths instead.
  • Itching and flaking are normal.
Do not pick, scratch, or rub your eyebrows — this may cause scarring or uneven pigment loss.

💧 Ointment Application (Starting Day 4)

  • Make sure your hands are clean before applying ointment.
  • Use a cotton swab to gently apply a thin layer twice daily (morning and night).
  • Apply sparingly — your skin needs to breathe and heal naturally.
  • Continue this routine for 7 days.

❌ For 14 Days – What to Avoid

To ensure proper healing, please avoid the following:

  • Excessive sweating and sports
  • Swimming, saunas, hot baths, or jacuzzis
  • Sunbathing or tanning beds
  • UV exposure or harsh skincare (e.g., Retin-A, glycolic acid)
  • Chemical peels or laser treatments
  • Picking, peeling, or touching the treated area (except with a cotton swab)
  • Heavy cleaning (e.g., garages or basements with airborne dust)
  • Excessive alcohol consumption
  • Riding in open-air vehicles (convertibles, boats, motorcycles, etc.)

⚠️ When to Contact a Physician

Seek medical attention if you experience:

  • Fever
  • Redness, swelling, or tenderness at the treated area
  • Red streaks from the eyebrow toward the heart
  • Yellow/green discharge with a foul smell

✨ What to Expect During Healing

  • Healing typically takes 2–3 weeks, depending on your skin type and age.
  • Your eyebrows will appear dark and bold at first.
This is normal — the color will soften as your skin heals.
  • Flaking or scabbing may occur after a few days. This is superficial skin shedding — do not pick.
  • After peeling, the brows may look patchy or lighter.
This is normal and often corrects itself during the healing phase.
  • Most clients require a touch-up after 3 weeks for the best, even results.

🌞 Long-Term Care

  • Once healed, apply SPF 30–50 sunscreen to protect the pigment from fading due to sun exposure.
  • When applying foundation, avoid covering the eyebrow area to prevent the appearance of fading.
